Anyone who needs to roll their fenders in the local area is more than welcome to come to my house on Feb. 18th. David from Harrison Motorsports in Atlanta was nice enough to let me rent his fender rolling tool for the weekend. Should take about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to do a full set of fenders. Even if you dont need them done, your still more than welcome to come hang out and have beer or whatever you would enjoy. Im planning on starting around 8:30 or 9:00 that morning on my car. Ill give directions to anyone who needs them. Come out and hang!

I dont know what you mean by that but come on out! If you need your fenders rolled its free. Im not charging anyone that wants to do it. Unless someone wants to pay some of the rental price with me:devillook ...

I'll toss in a few bucks, I don't need them done, but might as well so I can possibly get some wider tires under the car:redspot

Not to be a tard but what is fender rolling exactly?

Its making the inside lip fit flush with the fender. Mainly used for when you need to fit wider wheels+tires so they wont rub. The fenders are kinda like \| stock and when you roll it it should be like ||, completly flush with the inner fender. When my coilovers go on my tires would be rubbing like a mofo.

does it change the appearance at all? any pics?

No, it doesnt change the appearance at all. Techinically you do "widen" the fenders but its not on the outside or for appearance, its only on the inside of the fender. All your doing is making the lip flush with the inner part.

That's the way to do it, or just let the tire rubbing self roll them like I did on my 88 325is, oh wait my fenders looked nasty and I had to replace them.
Josh do you need any extra tools brought over, like jacks, jackstands, heatguns, etc...

Not sure if I'll have my new wheels by then, but I may come and hang out.

The party is back ON! The complication that was messing things up for the party has been moved so were back on track! Im glad as Ive been wanting to do this for a while now. As Ive said before, anyone is welcome to come hang out even if you dont need a rolling. The more the better! Anyone wanna ride down to ATL to pick up the tool with me?:shifty

Just be careful, Chat <-> Atl on I-75 is a huge speed trap.

Yeah, I know cops are always prowling around on I-75. Seems like I always have a "close call" when going to Atlanta.

I did the Kumho ASX again (same tires that I had on the black Style 32s)
They seemed to be a really good all season performance tire, and I was happy with the road feel when I had them before.

235/40/18 and 275/35/18

Lets hope they fit :evil2

This month is really looking shaky. Ive got something to do EVERY weekend this month and quite a few next month. Im going to be in Atlanta Feb 24th. Ill be out of town Feb 16th till evening sometime on the 18th. I went ahead and planned this since my sister is having that babyshower that weekend. I will be out of town March 9 - 12th as well. Then we have the Ellijay run the 18th...:redspot

I can give you the guys name and # if you would like Steve. I dont know if you guys really want to wait on me because it looks like it may be while till I can get around to it. I wish he would ship the tool to me at my office, that would help a great deal. Ill keep you posted as to what is going on though.
