Any of the detailers here have opinions on these products?... I have used them in the past with great results... but now I have just about every detailing tool known to man (if I dont... where do I get more? :p).

Synthetic waxes (especially Z and SG) work much better and last far longer than RainX/FogX. The only secret is to make sure the glass is really clean before application. Water still beads and sheets off my windshield and it's been at least 3 months since I applied Z.

I use Rain-X regularly and highly recommend it. It lasts quite a while, as long as you don't run your wipers often. Then again, if you need to run your wipers with Rain-X on, you probably didn't put it on right :).
