well i may have gotten lucky but im not sure. I really checked my car out today after it developed what to me seemed like a bad cat but i checked it a little more today after not driving it and found that its a 5cylinder now. It leaned out and im not sure how bad yet. Im going to replace the plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter and drain the tank and run fresh gas through it. I run 94 only so i think the gas is clean unless i got a bad patch. Lately the gas station i use has been sketchy.
If replacing those parts doesnt work then i may have to chase more injectors and if thats not bad then the AFM or the Chip may have gone whack, i dont know. All i know is that im pretty sure no internal damage was done. I think my valves and all are ok but only time will tell. Im going to bore scope it and see if we can determine anything from that most likely not but its worth the try. depending on how the BMW gods feel like treating me the blue machine is going in for its annual winter break down... Just i pulled the plugs Dry as a bone and whiter than them too.

the blue one in my sig. Actully as i progress through the diagnosis it looks more and more possible that i burnt a valve or all of them seeing as all 6 cylinders leaned out. which if i burnt all of my oversize titanium valves than I cant even tell you whats going to happen to it next but I will come up with a way to make it more powerful. Maybe port the head while i am at it, and do headers and M30 AFM and a big bore throttle body after the head is rebuilt to be higher flow
