this add is for A FRIEND OF MINE.
so my friend decided to depart from his BMW to buy a civic... yea i said the same! but im posting this up for him, see if any of you guys are interested, he can't let go of the car as of now, but shortly after he gets the SI, hell sell the bimmer.
the car has 115,000 miles on it, 5 speed, rebuilt top end, a brand new paint job, good sereo, clean interior, suspension, exhaust, strut bar, new tires, and many extras (i dont know exactly, ill get all the details tomorrow)
he is asking about 5.5 - 6k or make best offer.
the car is a truly cared for piece, one of the few well maintained/ clean e30s you will see these days.

JTFormula 01-19-2006, 11:18 AM Nice looking car but a Civic? Why??? No class...... LOL
Boomer 01-19-2006, 03:23 PM man, i told him the same! i see no reason behind his move to a civic.... i told him though, as soon as he gets the civic, 3 months later he will be shopping for another bimmer. after driving the ultimate bmw(e30 ofcourse) many cars will seem much lesser. I am speaking from eperience, im on my 4th BMW now and every time i sold one i looked for another car but couldnt resist and bought a bimmer again.... oh well, if i can salvage some extra money sometime soon, ill probably buy it myslef!
Grey Phox 01-20-2006, 12:28 AM Boomer tell your friend to rethink his decision. Normally i don't do this, theres some hot civics out there, i like and and what have you, but i did the SAME EXACT THING.
I sold my 535i and wound up getting a "modded" civic for the summer (05). It was the biggest mistake and I regret it so much. I wasted a couple thousand and money registering it and all that crap, only to realize i hated it. I bought it in June and sold it in August and went back to BMW and now own my 3rd one. Depending on which civic hes looking at, really tell him to reconsider, save himself the grief and money. Im talking cause i went through the same thing. Unless hes really set on it. Which ever way he chooses, i hope he makes the decision that makes him happy.

my friend is an idiot, i've been through the same thing (only with subarus) im on my 4th BMW now and i know how it is! i told him that within 3-4 months if not less he will be looking for another BMW guaranteed, but he will never be able to find an e30 as clean as his, oh well. his mistake, and hell learn that you can never go from a bmw to a honda.
im seeing if i can sell my current e36 or maybe take out a loan and maybe buy it off of him so later when he'll want the bimmer back, ill sell it to him for twice the price :evil2 :evil2 :evil2 :evil2
amancuso 01-20-2006, 10:05 AM You guys are totally right. Same thing happened to my friend in OKC. He had a really nice 91 318is 5 spd. He is again looking to get into another BMW. When will people learn the folly of their ways!?
