This is to anyone currently in the Edison, NJ area that already has an E36 M3. I live outside of Pittsburgh, Pa and unfortuantely cannot make the viewing hours for an auction on a 1995 BMW E36 M3 that is being held on the 26th of this month. You can physically examine the vehicle at the auction previews scheduled at the auction site on January 23rd and 24th from 9 am -4pm. Vehicle engines are started on those dates at 11 a.m. and 3 pm. I am asking if anyone could contact me that is able to go either of those dates to let me know what the condition of the car is in. They won't send me alternate pictures, besides this one side view and they don't give anyother info except the vin and mileage. If anyone with a great deal of knowledge is available to stop by the location at either 11 a.m. or 3 pm for the viewing and engine start and get back to me with the details it would be greatly appreciated. This is not a "manheim" auction, it is through government repossessions. I would prefer someone who has the expertise and experience that owns, knows, and possibly works on M3's so they know what to look for as far as failing components and wear. Please let me know. Thanks. RWFF

Bill, just wondering if you went to see the car yet, I decided since I can't find a way to get out there that its not worth bidding on. Anyway, did you think it was in pretty good shape, I understand if you want to wait until after Thursday to disclose, but I was just interested in finding out what I missed.

Thanks,
Ryan

the car must of been own by some rapper. 300lb sub box in the trunk and cheap amps and some dumb chrome wheels and cheap intake. It was an IRS Tax Repo and will not be released until the winner has a backround check(about 1-2weeks)

Im gonna buy it, but only if it goes cheap.

Bill, that's great congratulations, I need to see some pictures when you get a chance, no I wasn't there unfortunately. Was there alot of competition? And the burning question, what did it go for? Congrats.
