What are the torque requirement for the engine head.

Do you mean the torque settings for the stages of tightening for the head bolts?

The manual says there are three stages. The first two stages are torqued to XX ft-lbs. I want to know about the last stage where the head bolts get turned to 35 deg + 5 after you run the car for 25 minutes. I never heard of this type of requirement for tightening bolts. Is this necessary? How accurate does this need to be?

well, unless you like doing and redoing your head over and over, very necessary. i have the bentley manual and it says to do exactly what you said and if i were you, i'd do it.
