Once it gets warmer Ice Cream on 9 would be fun... I know off the top of my head they have a TGIfridays off 9. We can also do a movie and dinner thing that night. Over in New Brunswick I think it is right off 123 exit off the parkway. You and Al know the area better maybe you guys can pick an area.

I know over in brick, nj theres a plaza with a nice hibachi restaurant and movies. Also right down from the plaza is seaside for a nice cruise and pictures.

Brick is about 2-3 towns over from Belmar. If you know where Rt. 70 is, just keep following it until you come to a large intersection. There is a tile place/Party City on the right, TGI Friday's/ Best Buy on your left, McDonald's in front of you (kind of off to the right. Turn LEFT at this light. You will then see a large shopping center to you right. It has an Applebee's, A&P, Sports Authority, and Lowes Cineplex in it. This is the plaza in which Ikko steakhouse is located.

The whole point of our local meets is to get to know people in our area. This way we have a sense of community and people to lend a hand when we need to work on or mod our cars. The other problem with those gigantic meets is that they often end up in shambles by some people acting like idiots and cops coming to break the thing up and tickets being issued... just my 0.02

Well I can make a suggestion, if you are really thinking about driving to the plaza, what we can do is meet up at the plaza earlier before the other people at the big meet arrive have lunch at one of the restaurants (6 possible ones at the plaza) there and then hang out and see what happens.


The 6 possible places to eat are..
1) Califonia Pizza Kitchen
2) Joes American Bar and Grill (i like this one)
3) Jonny Rockets
4) south of the barder
5) Chillies
6) Ruby Tuesdays

I Was in the paramus store not to long ago because there media supervisor needed help with his dept because the product was out of control :stickoutt. OK then, we're meeting up earlier and heading up as a group... we can meet at the Freehold Raceway Mall again... My thought is we can take 9 to GSP to tpke. We should set the time at 1, giving people time to get here then head out around 2 which gives us two hours of travel time. If my thought is correct about this, we should get there with plenty of time, and those that want to dine can dine in a group at one of the places that Mike (95325i) suggested.

but anyway... im in between freehold n paramus, and since u guys are taken 9 to gsp i think a good place to get off of 9 is in sayreville and jump right onto the parkway through the cheesequake rest area(we could meet up there) then take the parkway all the way up to paramus..

so what time do you think you will be @ the plaza, if you leave Freehold at 2 you should be up here by 3 its its a 50mmin ride or so. or you can leave at 2:30 and get here around 3:30. your guys call

Thats sounds like the best idea to me.. but I was not going to stop anyone if they wanted to do the plaza thing. To me the small meet is much better.

The place is a bit on the pricey side but food is to die for. If we have alot of people that arent looking to spend to much on the food i think we'd all be more then happy to eat somewhere esle in the same plaza. Theres 2 other resturants within a few doors.
