I am preparing my 03 order and still struggling with exterior color. I would like a red but the Imola is too bright and bland.
It would appear that the only other red tones in the BMW line-up are Sienna (Z3, Z5) and Chiartta (7 series).

Has anyone seen these...in a perfect world I would like a "metallic light burgandy." Its too damn hard to tell by pictures. The sienna seems like a brown red and the Chiartta an orange-red.

Since the Domestic Zs are made in the US, do you think Sienna would be available in the German made M3?

Here is some follow-up info.
My local dealer in Philadelphia has a lot of cars on the lot (including five '02 M3s). The Sienna Red is a burgundy red with some orange overtone. The Chiartta is a loser. An orange-almost pinkish red with no depth-Rather bland.

I would really like the Sienna with Cinnamon interior; however, It is only a Z3/X5 color. Since these are made in the US, it is doubtful that it can be ordered on an M3. There are no M3 examples of this color on any of the websites.

I believe BMW Individual would handle this, but most dealerships either don't know about it, or won't tell you. I'm not even sure that BMW Individual is still around....

This dealership routinely handles these types of requests; however, BMW does not allow some options or colors.
