how much of you guys got snow yesterday? we got about 1" or so + some ice.

it has been insanely windy here too lately. Normally, LI is very windy, but the gusts were so loud I was glad that my car was inside.

In some spots it was only an inch, in others (thanks to the wind gusts) it was easily 6 inches.

the ice was pretty bad near my parent's house since they don't really plow over here. We're fortunate that we don't get much snow to begin with, and it's flat, otherwise i'd be screwed with getting to work in the morning.

people plowed around here...there is some black ice, thin sheets of ice, slush everywhere. In the stores parking lot is where it got ugly.

i saw an accident on old country road this morning right near roosevelt field mall. It was a Benz E class that had slid on some ice (it seemed that way) and crashed into a street sign and a storefront.

yeah this was at like 10AM. I forgot how retarded southern NYer's are with snow on the ground. I saw mostly SUV's on the road, and I think I was the only small car that ventured out.

here where iam (howell) we got about 5' . My car looked like it went threw hell and back today before i washed it. I have it in clean and waxed now and i refuse to take it out ontill the roads are bone dry.

Well, I'm in Bergen county and I got just a coating. But I did get some ice though
And I must add, a RWD car with a manual tranny and no DSC is definitely a challenge in icey weather
