hey guys, just wondering where you guys got your auto loans in Maryland.

the local State Employees Credit Union is a PITA.

have any of you tried capital one auto finance?

I usually get it from my credit union, they have really good service and I just got a 3.95% rate.

thats a pretty good rate. they are very nice, its just that they want sooo many documents before they cut me the check. its kind of a hassle :rolleyes

CU's almost always have the best rates and will loan more money then regular banks. What the hell are you buying?

the one good thing with CO ans EL are that they did not care if the car was over 5 yrs old. hard to get a loan from the bank for anything over 4

CU's don't care either. I took a 60mon loan on my 92 325 last year. 60mon loan on a 13 year old car? ;)

I had a loan on my Vette through my bank (BoA). 6 year old vehicle meant a 36-month loan at...13.9%. That hurt....a lot. :(
