Oh bloody hell. Look, at the plate, that car is local to me. I have never seen it before. I guess I will have to keep a look out for the "twin turbo" 750... I will look harder at the photos and see if I can figure out what apartment complex he lives in..

I love how he lits "just some of the performance" upgrades yet shows no pictures of it. Anyone with that much work, and doesn't keep it a secret, is going to post photos of it. I would also like to see the twin turbos. :rolleyes

danger will robinson... newb all over again.... i just finished reading all 67 pages...

But despite my desire not to be a fascist, I must admit the twin turbo claim seems suspect....

If it were me, I'd sure have pictures and all kinds of technical information on what I did and how I did it. I mean the engineering problem of fitting everything under the hood and managing the heat is worth several pages of explanation. Just finding a place to relocate the washer reservoir on a 750 would be a feat.

I'd be telling how I chamfered the valve pockets in the piston tops and added thermal barrier coatings to prevent detonation, who did the work and what brand of component it was, parts sources, etc, because that's how a descrimitating reader would know I did it right and didn't hack my turbo setup together out of pvc pipe.

You think I'm kidding... I actually saw a bulletnose 1950 Studebaker Commander with a complete turbo induction system made out of PVC pipe and hardware store parts. An abomination. But he was so proud of that abortion that his hood was up for the whole car show.

If I had twin turbos my hood would be up on my web page. Hell, if the bone stock restoration on my caddy was finished, I'd have it on a web page.

Sasquatch I'll be real interested if you ever find that car....

I suspect that it is probably "electric turbos". These things abound on eBay. Check out this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Electric-Supercharger-Turbo-Fits-all-cars_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33741QQitemZ803040 6886QQrdZ1

http://i12.ebayimg.com/02/i/05/6a/8f/97_1.JPG

It advertises "Up to 120 CFM". (Which is undoubtedly in free air, not actual boot pressure.) Wow, that's impressive! You might as well call it an electric airflow restrictor.

obviously, this product is aimed at the most descriminating and articulate of buyers when in the photo we see "less then $50" instead of "less than $50". Wow. perhaps we can see their dyno results. I'm sure they're impressive.... :confused

Poor car. What did it ever do to deserve that! I think that guy needs to lay off the :weedsmili . I wonder if he actually thinks that the car is going to get him laid.

I've seen the car, there is no turbo... the neon, however, does exist in awful excess. For those of us in Boise, the car used to park on Main Street out by the Game Keeper restaurant. That being said, I haven’t seen it in a couple of months.

I wonder if the car is the same one from this post :rolleyes

How many totally preposterous e32/m70 storytellers can there be in Boise? My vote is that these two are one and the same.

I did, however giggle like a schoolgirl when I pictured the state trooper blessing this guy to go 160mph in traffic, I mean, can you imagine the equivalent of weaving at 95mph between a bunch of cars completely stopped on the interstate... not dying, not wrecking, and getting the ok from the cops?.... and our fearless pilot takes it in stride...
what an image!

The only reason i see for having neon is to distract oncoming cars and cause an accident!

I couldnt stop laughing at the old thread that is now locked...now it is brought all back for me to crack up again.

One time I was in my beat to heck pickup and smoked a ferrari enzo...not in a straight line but on the track!...gotta love those plastic "superchargers / turbos." They give me 200,000 WHP.

Then I awoke from my cracked out state.

Maybe one day I will strap a jet engine 2 my huffy too! Or find a pull start (with kick stand of course) vibrator for my girl. :redspot :buttrock

Those look almost exactly like the heater blowers I had in my old POS ford bronco from back in the day... hrrrm.
