So what's the shop around here to goto for dyno AND tuning?

Possibly setup a dynoday? I need one done before the VIR event.

Dynojets do not make the best tuning tools. You want a load-bearing dyno like a Mustang or DynoDynamics. Ideally, you want to do a street tune but it isnt always feasible to do multiple 4th gear pulls around your neighborhood. :stickoutt

O.. ok, maybe no tuning then. Just dyno.. but it HAS to be Dynojet as required by NASA rules. :confused

I only have experience with EIP, but here is a list of all/most of the dynojets in MD.
http://www.dynojet.com/maps/autodynos/md.htm

I'm sure this goes without saying, but make sure whoever you do go too knows how to tie down a BMW.

Ive only gone to MainStreet in Damascus. They were cool... and now there is a 5guys upstairs.

But I think they want $75-100 / 3 runs.

Considering AA has several boosted RWD or AWD shop cars, I'd say they know how to tie one down. They have an All-Wheel Drive Dynojet... and it looks like they charge accordingly

We had our dyno day at FCCT in sterling, right off 28. www.fcct.net is the site, they charged $75 for 3 pulls with a/f mixture....they have some sick shop cars in there too, two DSMs, two vettes, and a 5.0 stang and a 4.6 stang...they also built a 6sec pro street drag car. Pretty nuts.

I think they run a pretty good shop :)

Let me talk to my boss Alfred. As of right now we cannot tune a car. The Horeba (however you spell it) is broken. But getting #'s is fine.....

Sounds good Jason, I just need numbers anyhow (the lower the better).

You just want to dyno or tune? Dyno's are a dime a dozen.. for tuning, try Cyntex up in PA.

I just need a dyno... on a dynojet to be exact. Need to have this done by 2/17.

There' that DYNApack shop in Springfield and there is a Mustang shop here in Springfield that has a Mustang dyno. The DYNA pack one had a dyno day a few months ago for 50 each but no tuning at that time. They are $75 an hour.
