What's the best way to get from Oakland, NJ to Morristown. I'll be there for buisness for work on Friday, and I'd like to meet my friend for dinner. She can come pick me up if she needs to, but I'd like to know if there are any trains that I can take to get there.

I think the 287 creates a major loop and passes fairly close to Morristown. In Oakland your failry close to the 287.

287 South. Its basically a straight run down.

I checked the NJ transit website and there doesn't seem to be any good way to go South from Oakland without going into the city. Correct me if I'm wrong.
