I posted a similar message on E46fanatics.com, but felt that this was just as appropriate here.

I've seen several threads here asking about auto shops in Atlanta and felt I'd recommend one in particular.

Holcomb Auto Inc. is located off of Holcomb Bridge Rd. in Alpharetta, GA. They primarily specialize in BMW/VOLVO repair and have been in business for over 10 years. I've been getting my service done there for over 4 years now and have no complaints whatsoever. They are very honest, reliable, and have excellent customer service. Also, their prices are fantastic.

You can visit their website at: http://www.holcombauto.com/

If you do decide drop by, mention that you heard about them online and they're likely to offer you some sort of discount as a new customer.

Advertising? Sure, I get my service done there -- why not spread the word on a quality auto shop? I haven't checked out Performing Imports, but based on the comments here -- it sounds like a quality shop as well.
