Hey, I am in dire need of a suspension drop and am leaning more towards the Bilstein and H&R combo.

Bilstein Shocks (http://www.modbargains.com/product.asp?pf_id=bmw%2De46%2Dshocks002) and H&R Race Springs (http://www.modbargains.com/product.asp?pf_id=bmw%2De46%2Dsprings006)

vs.

Bekkers Coilovers (http://www.bekkers.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=BI&Category_Code=bscsuspension)

I know more people have used the H&R + Bilstein Combo, so that is why i'm leaning towards that, however part of me still wants to know more about the Coilovers!

I have h&r race, konis up front and bilsteins in the back. I really like them.

Here's a Koni SA/Eibach Sport (comparable to H&R Race) combo to compare to what you are looking at. What drop on non-sport suspension will the H&R Race get you? I got 1.9" front 1.7" rear, once things settled (slight rake).

I know more people running Eibach/Koni's, guess it's just who you're talkin' with at the time.

I think the race drops the rear a bit more than eibach. I know this is e36 vs. e46, but the results may be the same.

I just put the Bilsteins on my 325 (E36) yesterday and WOW! I couldn't be more pleased.

I had the bekkers. I only had them on the car for a month and havent driven other set-ups so my opinion is invalid. To me, however; it was a HUGE improvment over my blown shocks on teh vert.

Previous owner did it. He said that the bilsteins in the back sat a bit higher than the konis would have. He didn't want tuck i guess.
