I have a set of Hoosier R3S04 DOT R comps in size 245/40-17...these tires have 5 - 6 heat cycles and are in very good shape with lots of tread left (last used at Watkins Glen)...they would make excellent practice tires or be perfect for use at Driver's schools...make offer I need to get rid of them asap...relocating all of my parts and race stuff this week for the winter...

thanks...I'd like to sell local to avoid shipping...

they were used last at WGI in Oct of 04...after that they were stored...for $250 for the set they are a steal, heck that's almost the cost of one new hoosier...even if you store 'em and use em as backups it's still great!

one of you budding de CHAMPIONS need these tires! even all clapped out after sunir beats on them they will still toast the poor slobs still on toyos...$250 is CHEAP, that would barely cover one of these things new.

did that help sunir? ha!

i'd pick them up, but my race car only uses 16in new hoosiers..;)

Keep me young. It's amazing what buying a pack of smokes and a case of beer can get!

Oh and my sweet azz bimmer doesn't hurt either.

Dude, have you heard woobie's house/progessive beat mix? It's pretty sweet. I'm listening to it now.

What do you have playing now?

Not all into college ball unless I'm watching it in Vegas or it's March Madness. Nothing really left to watch since the crappy Ravens have disappointed.

Baseball season is going to suck too.

Man, I miss Vegas. Good town.

I got married in Vegas

and yes the Ravens do suck. Not that my Giants don't suck too :(

What do you think about the Ravens possibly getting Kitna?

Oh Gawd-not a fan. Well...it's not like Kyle Boller is spectacular. The problem was towards the end of the season, we were playing crap teams that made him look like Vick or something. Seriously, I think Billick was lucky to have kept his job.

Yeah, kind of a letdown with Giants. Played well all season too. Tiki is money.

See that Steelers game with the sweet play with Roethelisberger and Randle El? Eh, they're going to get their azzes kicked by Indy.

stored indoors in black trashbags...it's important to store Hoosiers in a dark dry place at room temps...

Sunir, you have a tread depth gauge?

sunir
01-12-2006, 04:22 PM
hoosiers have built in tread depth guages/divets in them along the surface of the tire from inside to outside...u can inspect the tires for yourself by looking across the contact surface...

then tell me how much depth is left and whether or not these are still soft.... then we can discuss whether or not I want them ;)

they are soft & oughta grip well for you...they will last you at least another weekend - good for practice and plus you may even be able to get a sprint outta 'em (depending on how you wear them and how your car is set up...ask RRT about the threory behind tire vs. suspension setup info, they seem to be the resident experts on all things racing)...heck for $250 I'm practically giving them away dude ya know that...

dude...they will make good practice tires for you no doubt...PLUS (on top of practice)...you may be able to get a sprint outta them...that's a weekends duty right there...if you drive conservatively in practice (some folks aren't as agressive in practice as they are during a race in some instances) than they may last you longer than a weekend:) ...they are $250 man...that's dirt cheap...yer bustin my balls over these...lol ! :stickoutt

Youre lucky I havent asked for them for free in exchange for sponsorship yet :stickoutt

Seriously though.. I need something that'll last me longer than 1 sprint race. I have tons of tires for practice already, but need a set of Hoosiers for the 1st race in Feb....

lol cool:) I'll give em to ya if you wanna run 'Sunir motorsports' stickerzzzz on yer car:D :stickoutt ...

in your case if you've got practice tires already and want to use these for sprints...I'd say a couple of sprints (like 2-3) before they fall off would be pretty much what you'd get, so like a weekends worth of duty...no big deal lemme know if ya change your mind:)

Wait... so how many sprints exactly do you think they are good for? You first said 1.. now 2-3? Lemme know as that plays a HUGE factor as to whether or not I want to pick these up....

And dont lie or I'll get my dawgs on your ass:

if u use em for practice plus sprint races...then only 1 maybe, maybe 2 sprints...if you use them for just sprints then a couple or maybe 3

heck even if u do 2 sprints (like one NASA weekend) on these (that's just the races with no practice sessions on them)...at $250 that's a steal for the economic investment for that given weekend...a set of these are $950 or so shipped...

magnetic1

well.. that depends ;)

Im going to lowball you anyways... $200 and I'll take these. That price is based on maybe 1/4 useable life left on the tires... $800 new *.0.25 = $200.

Lemme know if this is agreeable to you.

Do you need any motulRBF600?

sunir
01-13-2006, 02:26 PM
Do you need any motulRBF600?

nah...used motulRBF600 in '03, switched back to superblue in '04...motul is too hydroscopic and requires more frequent bleeds...fresh superblue can just be flushed entirely and new fluid put in for a weekend without the need for bleeding through the weekend...
