View Full Version : Northern Viginia/DC Area BMW Owners
TheStigE36 01-11-2006, 02:26 PM Hey. My name is Michael Brooks, and I drive a 1995 M3 (w/ Dinan S suspension, AA Cold Air, AA exhaust, AA performance software). I am stationed in Dahlgren,VA and I am looking to get some people together for some weekend drives or some get togethers some where in the area. I just recently got moved to my new duty station, and I wanna try and meet some BMW owners in the area for some good times. Let me know if your interested. Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the forum and the area. Always down for a nice drive. Trying to put something together for the near future, late Jan/early Feb with a few people (emphasis on few, too many bimmers on 1 drive = out of hand). I am gonna swap back my Bridgestones for the occasion :)

TheStigE36 01-11-2006, 09:28 PM Thanks for the warm welcome, and all the interest. If anyone has anything planned in the future in the area. Just let me know. I am up for driving out to somewhere too. Dahlgren is a little tiny place right across the Nice bridge from Maryland. Anyways just hit me up later. Cya.
mlytle 01-11-2006, 10:39 PM welcome mike,
you need to make several nice drives to summit point, wv this summer...either to do some track schools or to come out and cheer for a fellow military member who happens to have a bad bmw racing addiction...:)

I live 40 minutes from the track and get up there throughout the summer, it's a great place!
Been out once for FATT, looking at the schedule. What series' and when do you race? I'll bring my big BMW flag to wave (you may have seen it already) and some Crown Royal!
What's the # on you car? I should have some pics of it from the past couple of summers.

I can hear them running from my house! I know the MARRS and Double MARRS! Really enjoy the Labor Day Double. You been in the 12 Hours @ the Point? I'll look for pics this weekend, I know I've seen #64 screaming arount the Point.
Have you had it on the new track? Through the carousel? I had the Z3 through it a few times at slow speed but it is still soooo much fun.

no enduros in that car..it is set up for sprint races. i have crewed at the 12hr and have run some longer races co-driving a friends rx7.
haven't been on the new track. scca doesn't play there, too small for our race groups.
