View Full Version : Any shops in ATL ? bokix 01-11-2006, 02:08 AM Iam looking for some shops in Atlanta ... that can install headers on my m3 and 4.10 gears ; p /// any one ? Mitchy540 01-11-2006, 09:39 AM Harrison Motorsports 1805 Hembree Rd Suite F Alpharetta, GA 30004 678-879-1200 they are among the best I know of WytLytnyn 01-12-2006, 04:43 PM www.performingimports.com keeptheuroalive 01-12-2006, 06:18 PM place called main source Germany also a very good parts place (not as cheap as online but cheaper than the dealer). they are off exit 13 http://www.mainsourcegermany.com/ komodo9 01-12-2006, 06:27 PM I've used Performing and Harrison. I like them both, however I'd trust harrison a bit more. I don't have any reason behind my bias, except that I know David (the owner) personally and he's a great guy. :) keeptheuroalive 01-12-2006, 07:10 PM i like Harrison but they are expensive. I by pass all of this by doing it myself. tony(topaz,SMG) 01-12-2006, 09:39 PM i like Harrison but they are expensive. I by pass all of this by doing it myself. If you think Harrison is expensive, I'd hate to hear what you think about Performing Imports. keeptheuroalive 01-12-2006, 09:48 PM Yeah I've heard they are even more expensive. Just by a 2 pairs of jack stands ($25 at sams per pair) and a buy or borrow a floor jack and do the work your self headers aren't to difficult just be prepared to bash your knuckles on sharp metal if you aren't wearing Mechanics gloves. The dif is a little more complicated, but you can def do it in your driveway. I guess this comes from being a kid who doesn't believe that you should pay someone $80 per hour to do something a kid my age can do with a little difficulty in my driveway. steved033 01-15-2006, 06:12 PM call that techno550 kid. he's not a bad wrench, and probably the only person I'd trust other than me. sjd xatlas0 01-15-2006, 10:56 PM Yeah, headers are easy, just unbolt->bolt up, once you have the proper gaskets. The diff is more tricky, but another unbolt/bolt deal. These are easy tasks.
