You'll have to pull the whole cluster out, remove the screws that hold the cluster together and then put that stuff in there. You have to remove the steering wheel and airbag to do that. It should only take about a half an hour to do it. I would suggest you buy a Bentley manual..

wow sorry to bring back an old thread. But I'm trying to install a brushed aluminum bezel and there's no way it's fitting through one of the bigger gauge wholes like people on the forum are saying they did to get their carbon fiber bezels in. So...is there in fact any way to get the clear plastic off without ruining it??? p.s. kessler, no offense but your reply was not the answer the op was looking for. We know how to get the gauges out and apart, but putting on the new bezel is a whole new ballgame! Any help to this install is greatly appreciated. thanks -LoGaN

Good luck getting that apart.. Heating it up slightly would be the only way I could guess...

Anyone? Please...I have no idea! I've been tinkering and tinkering but nothing has worked so far. I want to put it in sooo bad because it would look soooo cool but I can't leave the gauges out of the car for much longer! I still have them taken apart and I still just want any info anyone has on installing gauge bezel overlays!
