Has anyone had trouble getting a hold of anyone at KO Performance lately? Have they disappeared off the scene? I've tried multiple times to call them and no one is answering anymore? Strange.

i got my motorsport belts from them. you are supposed to e-mail them because their PM box doesn't work. my belts came in pretty quick BTW so they seem legit.

Jim M3 e-mailed me promptly. KO Performance is in fact still in business, just really busy.

Edit.
KO Performance is still very active and developping new products. They called me back, despite being very busy. Thumbs up to them for getting back to me.

Still have not gotten back with my friend who ordered clear corners and they shipped him the wrong ones.

KO lost two people in a week and at the same time the employee who was fired Joe Gattas of Midnight Autoworks also stole KO's prototype supercharger. I think I have cleared up all outstanding issues but if I haven't please e-mail me or John Paul and we will get it taken care of. There is nothing about KO that is shady other than Joe Gattas who was fired and is now being charged with Grand Theft. We do business correctly and are in damage control right now trying to fullfill orders and make sure everybody has what they need.

My e-mail is

jrn@koperformance.com

John Paul's is

jpk@koperformance.com

Please let us know if there are any outstanding issues.

I quit and John Paul knows that, I can post the e-mail, both me and Greg quit because of the working conditions at KO became ridiculous, KO is run and operated out of a 1 bedroom apartment where they weld and machine metal on the 27th floor of an apartment building. Prototypes -- not that I need them the product was designed and implemented before any dealings with KO, are not mine or in my possesion- there on a KO customers car and that has nothing to do with me or my company.

Both of you are claiming these new supercharger units are making XX RWHP....where the hell are the dyno sheets?

KO will be releasing HP and Torque numbers along with Dynos as soon as the prototype is recovered and can be sold again. KO has been around 5 years and will release this product as soon as they can get them into production. Unfortunately the prototype seems to be missing :rolleyes

I doubt they're netting any gains, with manifolds like these:

The final dyno numbers were better than anything I have seen for a 318i. Vote with your wallet if you don't want to buy one. I didn't develop this kit I am merely speaking for what happened. It was a mess of a major proportion and is now being cleaned up.

That would be Midnight Autoworks idea of a prototype. Take a look on their site now that is the kit John Paul developed. Joe just happened to take it with him last week.

I see where you're getting at. I just bought m50 intake manifold kit from them. I mean they have great service & great people. But I believe the hoses should be a lot longer now I gotta spend more money and buy a whole entire another kit because the hose/nipple closest to the firewall wont hook up so i got it capped for now until i buy a new kit... I tried calling as well around afternoon but no pick up either...

KO performance, i sent you guys an e-mail. If you can't reach me as soon as possible through e-mail could you guys call me also thanks. Because this is quite a bad vacuum leak & its something I shouldn't be going through if I'm spending the money. I mean you guys have great service & all dont get me wrong & very nice people its just i need a longer extension for the hose/nipple so i can clamp it down or have the shop clamp it down. PPR auto - pprauto.com which is bmw performance shop has done many m50 conversions and hasnt ran into this problem once yet because they've done it many times before on two of my friends car so thats what's throwing me off a bit.
