I'll soon be ready for new tires (SO3s planned) on my '95 and am curious if I can go up to a 245/40-17 size all around (I run 235s today). My car has the LTW 5-spoke forged wheels, with 7.5" front and 8.5" rear width.
I'm hoping that the 245s fit as I may get 8-8.5" wheels all around next year where the 245s will be perfect. If they simply won't fit or would cause abnormal wear/handling response, then I'll just play it safe and stick with the 235 size all around.
If anyone has experience running 245s on 7.5 front wheels, I'd sure like to hear you experiences and opinions so I can make the right decision. Thanks in advance for your help!
