it's actually quite a nice drive and very easy. Basically, take the Belt pkwy to the outer bridge crossing to the staten island expy to the verrazano bridge, to 287N to 78W and it's nearly right off 78W. The drive goes by really fast, especially if you have a radar detector.

I don't know where on long island she's referring to, but I can get to my old stomping grounds in queens, from Bethlehem, in less then 1.5 hours cruising along between 75-80. it's about 90 miles door to door.

given the time of the meet, you won't hit any traffic so it'll be smooth sailing all the way out.

I've made the 150 mile drive in 2 1/2 hours. It should take you like an hour and a half to 2 hours to get there. Don't take the lincoln tunnel, whatever you do. It's a nightmare and it isn't really the best way to get there.

Don't bother taking the tunnels, seriously. There is much less traffic/construction if you go south to go back north and it's shorter time wise. I don't believe I'll be going to this meet, no.

Saint, we usually meet right in downtown Bethlehem, across from the train station - there is a HUGE lot there for us to use. Its also within walking distance (which is a good thing, by time we're done) of the brewery.

The lot you met us in last time was just a second waypoint of some sort.

they are really strict at the brewery about ID's. It's not something you want to get into, especially with a big group. You can still come if you're under 21, though.
