Anyone know of a good, reliable, and reasonably priced body shop in Columbia, SC? I am going to get an estimate at the BMW dealership, but I fear that will be very expensive. Thanks

If you go to Hancock, talk to Scott and ask for the guy that does their body work, he's not really affiliated with the dealership and will do it cheaper on the side but still in their shop if you talk to him directly. He fixed a gouge in my bumper and repainted it for 250 and was done in 4 hours. He only comes on Wednesday's and his name is Tom Houston but I was satisfied with the work.

Thats probally your best bet....

On a side note, where the hell are all these Columbia people coming from. When I first signed up I thought I was one of a few, and now it seems like there are 10+.

We are having a meet next sat (Jan 14th). The Thread is called, BMW Grill & Chill. Go check it out, and show up.

8ball, did you get my email with the directions?

Thanks for the reply. The only problem with that guy, is that if he only comes on Wed. then it would probably take him a couple of weeks to fix the car. This is not just a touch up type of repair. A few body panels and bumper will need to be replaced.

I would love to go to the meeting on Saturday, but more than likely my car will be in the shop getting repaired. I will try to come to the next one, so hope it is not too far away. Thanks

Broad River Paint and Body are good.

Scott and Benji repaired my truck rather quickly . . . Insurance took care of the cost . . .

Bimmerboy, yeah I got your mail and also from PJ for directions. Now if Olin has my car done by Friday afternoon I'll be there without issue.

Hey PJ did you see my email to you on your roadrunner account?

Well . . . When a certain person moneyshifted his 325, I asked Olin if he would put in M3 Cams since we had to take the 325 cams out anyway . . . and he didn't object at all . . . actually. . .he was the one that suggested the M3 Cams in the first place. . . .

Now I do know that's his usual policy. If you haven't ordered it yet, you might can talk him into ordering it or something. . .Olin is hard read sometimes. . . .

OK, he didn't give me the impression that he wouldn't do it at all he just said that it would be out of the norm for him. I haven't gotten it yet but of course want to get the best price possible.

Yeah. . . ok.

If you smooze him over as a performance oriented driver. . .I think he would. . . ;)

I usually talk him up a bit and then suggest some performance part . . .:D

Knight Enterprises is close to the Airport. Small shop that does quality work, seams to care about what he does. I have seen a few things he has done and I plan to use him on both my roadsters for some paint work.
