Are you going to contact various vendors to see what they can do?
Very rarely does one seem to step up right away for a GB.

I would recommend contacting the Supporting Vendors on here and find out what they carry, and the deal they could give us, dependant on the participation.
We need to give Supporting Vendors the first crack at supporting GBs.

I'm pretty sure GC either won't do a group buy, or will not let their vendors do one. I've heard they have pretty strict pricing controls. Maybe someone will offer a good deal on a similar product, and GC can see why not doing group buys = bad.

i hope JTD responds back. i read that with GC rsm's you cant use a rear strut bar.correct me if i am wrong...not that it's relevant for my particular car, but just lookin out for the rest of you...... hopin for RE or JTD to reply

I usually get screwed on shipping although UPS does now offer a "ground" rate to Hawaii... fwiw my zip is 96701 in case vendor needs it.

blew the radiator tonight so this is timely. yes, that also means I am on the hunt for the other hoses, lower temp thermo, metal housing, radiator, belts, it goes on and on.

Rayray, you need to contact the vendors we have here for any GB.
Like they replied, most companies won't do that and undercut their vendors. Plus the vendors prices usually start out under MSRP anyways.
If none of the vendors here want to help us out, then you can usually get the okay to go to an outside vendor.

You might try contacting the following vendors here: M Motorwerks, MPact, Edge, Turner, Performance Parts, and there's probably a few others.

When I bought my JTDs last time I think it was around $100 shipped.

Quick question:

I am getting Bilstein sports for my 97 M3/4. Will these have 10mm or 12mm shafts? Will I need the supplied bushing shaft, or will I have to get bigger washers?

They should be 10mm. I'm not 100% sure, but the only shocks I can think of that isn't 10mm are Koni DA's.
