Does anyone know where I can get the shadowline trim done on my 525i in the Michigan area?
if you were in wisconsin i would do it for you. you could just do it yourself.

basically you need to mask off the car except for the trim, scuff it up with some light grit sandpaper and then paint it with some SEM trim paint. use blue painter's masking tape and newspaper/drop cloths to mask the car and you can find SEM trim paint at a store like NAPA auto parts or Advanced Auto parts. its pretty straight forward really. lots of e30 guys do it.

another note: to do the trim around doors you may have to open them up because on some cars the trim wraps around the top to the inside. just make sure to use lots of tape and newspaper.

i just saw some tape they make now, wish i could remember the thread it was in for shadowline. you just cut it with a razor. they had some pics looked pretty good to me.

i did mine with the tape and spray method.
