I just wanted to thank Edge Motorworks for helping me out during the purchase of my 88 M3. I wanted to get a prepurchase inspection done on a car that was registered as a Non-Op. (car had to be towed around every where) I called Erik to see when I could bring the car down and he told me that I could bring it down Monday after new years eve, and store the car overnight in the shop (a day they were closed) and then the inspection would be done the next morning even before they opened up to squeeze me in.

Erik met me and Moespeed2002 (who towed the car for me. THANKS MAN :buttrock ) on Monday afternoon on his day off and he opened the shop for us to store the car.

After the inspection the seller and I needed to deal with smogging the car. Since the smog kept getting delayed for days, Gordon allowed me to park the M3 in his personal racing trailer and also in the shop until today. They setup our appointment at the smog shop and I doubt the car would have passed with the headers installed on it if we would have just gone to some other smog shop.

Even though they only did an inspection for me this week, they treaded me sooo well it was shocking. Coming in on a day off, coming in before the shop opens and storing the car for me for almost a week is something only friends would do. Edge Motorworks has the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. They are more then mechanics, they are serious BMW enthusiasts and I could tell they really wanted to see me get the car I have been dreaming about.

Thanks guys, I couldn't have done it without your support :)

Another bump for Edge. I've only been there twice (for the inspection and the last dyno day) and was treated well both times. I plan to have my alignment and clutch work done at Edge when the time comes.

Thanks guys...

BTW, is the alignment machine setup yet?

Nope,

We own it, but we can't set it up until Hoover is out and our permits are approved. Shouldn't be too much longer!

How much will you be charging for alignments?

Standard 4 wheel (no camber plates or excessive lowering)will be 105, performance 4 wheel starts at 125 and goes up based on actual time. We'll be doing cornerbalancing with the alignment as a package as well. For the hardcore trackers, we are considering an Alignment Club special where you can buy, say, 6 alignments for a 12 month period and do them any time at a discounted rate.
