Yeah.. him too.

edit: You know... I could swear I saw a large writeup from you on this thread about your rear dinan subframe with tons of pics. I even saved all the pics. Where'd it go?

So you know Latin - eh?

ET- Tu Bruce?
************************************************** ************************************************** ************************

Et tu, Brute?*

(et TOOH BROOH-tay) A Latin sentence meaning “Even you, Brutus?” from the play Julius Caesar, by William Shakespeare.
Caesar utters these words as he is being stabbed to death, having recognized his friend Brutus among the assassins. 1
‡ “Et tu, Brute?” is used to express surprise and dismay at the treachery of a supposed friend. 2

Yes, I had them on here for a minute but we had a large dedicated thread about making an adjustable rear subframe
and I showed the Dinan subframe.

So I after seeing the responses I was getting on this thread I took them off.
You remeber the past thread - it was where we looked
at both your subframe, and mine, and I told how Dennis send this off to Korman to modify.
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=442496&highlight=dinan+rear+subframe

It was costly and he also needed to trade his subframe for the core.
Heres a quote from the previous thread and a few pics..their are lots of pics there

CJ, take a quess? ok here goes bro...

Dennis sent his 320i subframe as a core. Its my understanding that he traded his stock one for this one.
So yes, in most cases you have to send them your subframe for them to modify.

With the core he had to spend close to 1K. (I paid about half of that, because Dennis wanted to recoupe some of his investment.)
And I am not pimpn you. A rip off - I agree :smoke3 :smoke3 Korman is so freaking HIGH :smoke3 :smoke3

1k for this:??

Heck it sounds like my condo Mgt company..that does not allow me to paint my own decks,
and then charges me 225 for each one...resulting in a 850 fee this month.

Thats why we are here, to help each other out. But without sharing the pictures of How they did it..we can't do it ourselves can we?
And I called Korman before I came across this - and they wont tell.

I am sure there are people on the board who could make these subframes all day long.

J

Josh, If you need the dimensions let me know, I am not using it yet. I can make a template for you too.
I am going to powdercoat it and use it hopefully this spring.

Also I can seen you the alpina b6 bottom piece for you to make copies off.

It is obvious you need to practice on yours.

Jay, I do like the wood look. Hopefully you get the new engine in soon...

veni, vidi, iocus!
its Veni Vidi Vici..buddy, and I know that you know what he really said.
'I came, I saw, I conquered'

Cogito, Ergo Sum

It is obvious you need to practice on yours.
Amoto quaeramus seria ludo,

OT: Ray, to serious matters eh?
It was more than 20 years ago that I started taking my latin, and I had four years of it at my high school.
I read the Homer's stuff, but my memory is fading. Hopefully I will still be able to
talk in Italian when I go to Italy this year.
