I own a '97 840Ci and am having trouble finding a supercharger. Dinan has one for up to 1995. I would prefer a twin screw due to less heat production and, therefore, no need for an intercooler (at least that is what I've been told).
Do any of you in the FI forum have any advice/information to pass along?
Thanks, Doug.

At the moment, there are only twin screw kits available for the E36. Shadowchaser is supposedly working on a twin screw for the M60, but the FI board hasn't heard from him in a few months, so who knows what is up.

Actually a CF setup would probably be better for your car, and centrifugal compressors are the most efficient (least amount of heat produced). Only downside is their boost curve isn't as fat as a TS in the low rpms, but heck you have a V8 anyway. I would also add that skimping on an intercooler isn't really the best thing to do with forced induction - you want to err on the side of reliability...

Centrifugal superchargers are less efficient than twin screw superchargers. Whoever told you otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about!
