My 325i is up on the block.

Right now it is posted on Ebay at $900 and no reserve and just 2 days left.
It has suspension mods and as well as stereo upgrades, and since it seems to be going so cheap I thought I would post it here incase any of you are looking for a steal. Let me know if there are any questions.

The enigine doesnt run right. It has a delay in throttle response when you get onto or off the gas. This happened after I had the head gasket replaced on it by a non bmw mechanic. He may have got the timing wrong, or unpluged a sensor I really dont know. But I do know it starts and you can rev it, But it is like a second after you push on the gas that it finally decides to rev up.

Anyone is welcome to come by and turn it on and listen to the engine themselves.

Let me know if there are any other questions

Im in Michigan, think it would make it back to my house? Maybe about an hour or so away.... Id give 900 or so cash for it.

I do not think it would be good to drive it anywhere but around my yard or onto a trailer. Plus since it has been sitting awhile it has a flat tire on the drivers front.

huh...Maybe it is just the MAF. I may take a peak at that tonight.

But to the other question, who wants to say that their car is bad? But I would not let you try to drive it an hour away. I could probably arrange towing for a fee if you are not that far away. I will not sell it to someone that plans to drive it home. (unless you live in my neighboorhood). Not becuase I think there is no way it couldn't make it. Maybe it could, but it is a chance that should not be taken. When you drive cars that need attention instead of giving them attention all that usually happens is things get worse.

Let me tell you a story.
I had a S13 coupe that I loved. It had a waterpump go on it, and I decided I was going to buy a new chasis. I sold it to someone that said he would tow it home, fix the pump and give it a good home. The guy didnt bring a tow dolly. said he was going to limp it back to Detroit, 2 hours way, I told him it would over heat before he even got ten miles and that he should wait and tow another day. He wouldn't listen and took off. I got a call from the police as they were stopped on the road not 5 miles from my house. The had no proof of insurance or plates. I went to talk to the cops to bail them out, I actually left the insurance on the car just incase, the kids were set free. I told them they should take the car back to my house and then tow it back a different day and that I would even pay for the tow dolly, as they were just going to over heat the car, warp the block and destroy the engine, when all it needed was a simple water pump. They wouldn't listen again and took off.

I get a phone message later about how my car didn't make it to Detroit ( no suprise) that it was overheating and he kept pushing it. They thought maybe it needed more oil (it needed a water pump). They put oil in it while the engine was hot. They spilled some oil on the exhaust manifold in the dark. The car caught on fire, and burned on the side of the highway halfway to detroit. The car was completely destroyed. And all becuase it just need a waterpump and a tow.

So it could just be the MAF. I would love to think that is so. But it should be towed and not driven until it is fixed, less worse damage befall the car and the owner in the process.

Boy that sucked.
Never again.

Hi, Volk,

I'm your current high bidder, still trying to figure out transportation.

Hi Banndit,

You have all your bases covered. :)
Sorry shipping is being complicated. Let me know what works out, and on this end I am not under terrible time pressures so there is plenty of time to sort it all out.

Let me know if there is anything else you need.
