I usually can take some ribbing as my car has been a long neglected project.
Ray, CJ and the guys like to joke around, due to the fact that I have
over indulged in threads promoting my 524td crank thats been knife edged,
and bottom end m20 2.8 stroker from Tyler at Bav Auto.

We have a long discussion on knife edging and most have said that the eta crank
in the m20 stroker is more than enough. So the 524td is overkill, and they are just poking a little fun.

That does not mean that we are in any type of war, and everyone respects everyone else on here, as we all love our old cars. Its all good, and its all fun.
And someday my car may actually run...after many years at the shop.

Ray and I go back a few years on various boards.

I have just about all the parts, and I am porting the head right now.
Then its just the install.

Also the offer to you for the 323i head, and fuel system still stands when I complete the swap - which should be done by spring.

Awesome, about the head and fuel system... What is the fuel system called? is it the K-Jetronic?

yeah stock is k-jet on 323i's but you can run a newer system and add mega squirt:D
