I got this off swedespeed forums while getting info on my beeter 850 T-5R

http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=51367

Here is the gist:
1.) Swedespeed member buys wheels from ronalusa.com
2.) Ronal USA sends him 2 redrilled wheels all fucked up
3.) User tries to get refund for them
4.) Ronal gives him a hard time saying its common practice to redrill wheels.

I dunno I personally would have zero confidence in redrilled anything. I have to seriously reconsider getting the ronal R-28's

We would never redrill anything. It either fits or does not fit.

The only way for any respectable company to do it. Whether or not it works or even common practice as they say, it shows that they don't care about making quality products. That easily puts them on my do not buy from list.

I'm surprised he even put them on the car. It looks like they would be knocking around the bolts as he drove.

i think the new holes are countersinked so the bolts would be seated fine but that's really bad quality control. doesn't ronal make acs wheels too?

that is not done by ronal directly! and being i used to be in the aftermarket wheel industry this is very common practice. but it should not be more then a 2mm differance in bolt pattern and always drill and insert rather then just drill a second hole.

I don't think it is common practice. We don't do it.
