Tried searching but could not find specifics.

My '82 E21 needs a new tail light panel and I was thinking of getting one that would work if I do the euro bumpers.

Saw Josh's pics and he only did the lower portion of the rear valance. Is the rear panel one piece or two piece?

Do you know who has it available in the US?

TIA,

you mean the valance itself? thats about the only thing i could think of which might be different between euro and us cars?

Point it out there?

The body panel which runs the length of the rear (including the tail light areas) then down to the top of the bumper differs in part numbers between 4 and 6 cylinder models. I have no idea if its different physically, the diagram looks the same. If this is the piece you mean it seems to be all one piece of sheet metal designed to be welded into place. They call it the tail trim, if you look above you can see the seams in the bodywork where it is welded in place.

Yes, that body panel is different on the 323i vs 320i ..I replaced mine and it was in one piece - one tail panel for the lights and
lower mounting of the euros.

I think W&N or Eric Veng has just the lower bottom.

Thanks for all the help!

I have to replace the whole panel on the car. The arae below the trunk lock (sort of a brace) and under the tail light lens is rusted out, so I might as well go all the way.
