I just finished getting my head ported/polished - had the exhaust opened around 12k, and the intake around 15k, plus removal of internal barriers. Also dropped in a set of Schricks at the same time, and new Iridium plugs. I drove her to work this morning, and all I can say is WOW. The power just keeps on coming and after 4000, it almost feels like a turbo kick in the power. Accelerating in 1st, seems like it almost takes the front wheels off the ground. Big kudos to German Auto Repair (germanrepairauto.com) and Bill Briere, the owner, who held my hand through the tear-down (and cleaned up after my mistakes :stickoutt ) ; these guys do an awesome job, and Bill is a great resource of knowledge for just about every German automobile out there;
I`m looking foreward to getting this thing on a dyno, to verify my seat-of-the-pants dyno which is telling me she`s putting down somewhere above 260 HP at the wheels :alright

Cosmos Black; I used to be a consultant, so last year I was all over town, but I live in Marietta.
I`m waiting for pics the shop took of the head post-polishing. It was an amazing difference, almost put like a powdercoat finish on the inside of the ports.
