First saw these on the last page of "European Car" (Oct-02).
The wheels are called "Classe" and OZ makes them. That silver strip you see around the edge is actually designed to be removed by OZ dealers if it gets damaged. Then its easily and inexpensively (so they say) replaced. Whatever it costs to replace it I doubt that it would compare to the $3-500 we currently have to shell out for new wheels after our cellphone rings while we are going through McDonald's drive thru and in the process of anwsering it we knock hot ash off our cigar into our crotch and we end up driving over the curb while we try and stand up through the sunroof... but I digress :P
Anyway, check this out. It don't look that spectacular or even much unique but its the wheel of the future. (IMO)
Could have saved me some cash if they had thought of it sooner for damn sure. :)
EDIT: Fixed the picture problem :)~Preppy
