My automatic transmission out of my 325i e36 is shot. Is there any junkyards or shops around NorCal where I could get a used transmission?

don't tell me to do a auto-to-manual swap:shifty

Double O2 Salvage in Hayward will most likely have one.
Bavarian Auto Recycling in Sacramento will have one too.
Good luck

PS Do an auto-to-manual swap!!! sorry just could not resist.;)

FYI auto transmissions are built to wear so ALL autos will go bad eventually don’t ask me when I don’t know but they will go bad.

Does anyone know how much a junk yard will charge for a used transmission? I don't want to drive there and it be like the price of a remanufactured one.
