As I told before, I'm thinking about engine swap for my E21. But just today I found some advertisment about e21 with M50B25 for sale. Here in Latvia!!! It is incredible. Latvia is a small country. End even simple E21 is too hard to find. But with M50 inside. Hmmmm. I call this guy. We agree to meet. I picked up a camera and urgently drive to him. What I saw was unbelieveable. If somebody help me to post pictures then everybody can see what is for sale for 2500 EUR!!! But after a little discuss with owner I understand that this project is only a half way to finish. The owner dont want to make nothing more, but for me there is a lot thing s that have to be chnaged. M50B25 engine complete with all wirings, custom exhaust with endings on both sides of car, E39 dashboard and steering wheel as also all other electronics, recaro salon, ATS R15 10J in back and 7.5J in front, complete custom wide body kit, Hella alternative front grille with square type lights.... but rear axle without changes from 320i with drum brakes and very short diff without any slip, original 320i suspension and springs. <o:p></o:p>

I started to think: buy or not to buy?! From one side I dont like how car looks, it is not my type, but from another side is the price of a car. I will spend even more to finish my E21. So I would like to ask your opinions?! <o:p></o:p>

it is kind of ugly but i'd say pick it up for sure, if anything it would be an easy swap into your car

The m50 fits. A chevy 302 has been put in the engine bay of an e21 so a LS1 could probably fit. I am curious about which radiator that is being used, and which motor mounts. Any way you could ask the owner who pulled this swap off the answer to these questions. Also can you find out, a wiring diagram and harness info and if the stock tranny was retained.

I would buy the car and try to scrap the body kit.

2500 sounds like a pretty good price for just the car. Like J said, scrap the bodywork or you could just put the swapped stuff into your car.

I'm sure a 302 is a Ford engine. A 305 is a chevy engine although....

i plan on the m30 now, i can't be fugged making the engine mounts. fritz bitz will do that:)
