does anyone know how to adjust the headrest height on a 1979 318? they are not power seats and don't want to budge.

little button on the side of the seats near the top..feel for a bulge in the side lining...push that in and they should go up:D well thats how they work in aus should be the same there. hope it helped:)

That was the best when I used to have my E21. Sometimes I'd just sit there and laugh at them while they tried to figure it out.

Hey now. I was one of those. When I bought the car i couldnt figure how to get out it. And the nifty tool kit in the rear saved me a 20 minute drive back to my house cause i forgot some of my tools. Its little innovations like that that makes me love BMW's.
