Hey guys, I have a Grade B CF Hood for a e36 2dr. It's made by TCSportline. I have reinforced the skeleton with a sheet of kevlar and I am including another sheet with this sale. Asking for $100 picked up in Los Angeles, Cali. Here are some pics.

how smooth is the surface? is it wavey at all?

bb0ytom: hood is still available for grabs.

jonnyg: it has waves in the center portion of the car but it's really not noticeable under the sun. At night, you can see it at an angle. It's real easy to swap the hoods too (for your track / street duty) since I'm including the two front latches.

so those are permanent blemishes on it? very noticable when on the car?

i'll have a maurtrius blue hood when I buy hood from mace. Don't know how close the color is from avus blue

98///M3: It's not a blemish. The structure of the hood is sorta wavy, not absurd where it's gonna look "gross". You can get it shiny again with a good polish. It's been sitting in my garage for a while now so it's kinda dusty.

AngelEye328i: PM sent.

Honestly, I believe it's a terrific value because:

1) my "custom" layer of kevlar underneath. :D
2) I'm including another sheet of kevlar which is a $50 value. It's still in the bag, never been opened.
3) You can choose to lay the kevlar wherever you choose, as long as you sand it down prior to. (Of course, resin/epoxy is needed). If you have a bodyshop friend, then that's great.

Rolled edges? uv protection? no holes cut in the hood at all eh?

Good questions from Eric.

Eric BMW: No rolled edges since it's Grade B. According to TCSportline, there is UV protection. There are small holes where the hood washer is, you just have to enlarge it.
