day.
Well I installed some bosch platinum +4 plugs about a month ago along with some other stuff. Well every since I had a rough idle problem and backfiring on ocassion. Well last night I swapped out the plugs for some good old autolite copper core plugs that cost me $.98 each. I fired up the car, and it purs like a kitten now. :redspot I'll take it out this afternoon and push it a little to see if it cuts out on my at high RPM like it did with the old plugs.
Lesson learned: You don't always get what you pay for.

I had bad luck with the NGK BKR6EQUP that everyone loves. I have denso iridiums now and they run great...

They're have been numerous threads about bosch plat+4 and how they really really SUCK etc. I even sported them for about 3months and didn't like em much either. Autolite really really really SUCKED TOO...don't keep em there too long. I went for bosch plat+2 all isssssh gwood! or go OEM.

NGK Copper plugs are awesome, although I had a good experience with the Bosch Platinum +4's in my first M3.

$6 ain't nothing...try $20 per plug for my Euro motor! And there isn't any other alternative...clubplug or dealer are both $20/plug.

Get some NGK BKR6EIX - single electrode iridium plugs. I run NGK coppers in my Nissan and I think they're causing a misfire after only about 4000 miles.

The only really expensive part I have found on the Euro motor. Everything else has been readily available and not that badly priced thanks to Franklin. It will be a track only car so I might get 2 years out of them. :dunno:

I used Bosch P4s, the NGK equip plugs and some NGK iridiums over the last few years. running NGK coppers now. They seem to work the best
