Anybody knows of a good car audio place in the Fort Worth area, preferably north-eastish.

There is a place over on Rufe Snow called Crank It Up.. Anyone have any experience with them? I am looking to tear out all the stock stuff and get new components installed.

I would NOT go to Crank It Up for ANYTHING. My friend used to work there a while back and he has told me stories of the employees there stealing items from cars left overnight.

Alright, won't go there then. Anyone heard of this place called Traffic Jamz over on 377 in Haltom City?

Traffic Jamz is supposed to be OK. I hate to say it, but due to the volume of cars going thru, Best Buy might be an option. Plus you can watch them while they install your stuff.

Heh, I went to Best Buy by the North East Mall. When I mentioned what kind of car I had he made a phone call, came back and said that my price started at $400. That's before I had picked out any equipment. But I guess they were assuming that I wanted to replace everything. I am looking to just get a new head unit, new amp and some speakers in the kick panel.

If you're any sort of a DIYer, then check out http://www.bavariansoundwerks.com. They have a lot of BMW specific audio parts and packages. They have put together some nice documentation as well.

i work at circuit city, for HU, all you need is a $40 wiring harness, PM me and I could get it for 4x cheaper for you. As far as speakers and AMP, definately PM me.
