I'm interested. How many people do you need for a GP? Are these for the straight tips?

I'm interested in the straight tip exhaust not the DTM. Please email me discounted price. Also, is there a backlog for the Gen 3? Last time I inquired there was a wait. Anyone interested in a Borla Exhaust? :D I will have one available if the GP goes through.

DeezBMW,

I haven't had a chance to get it installed yet. Hopefully it will be on by tomorrow and I will let you know how I like it.

I received my exhaust today and installed it after I got home from work (after letting things cool down a bit, of course!). Was glad to have another pair of hands (thanks again, Scott Yu!).

Sounds awesome. Nice throaty bass at idle (not too loud), nice loud (but not too loud, IMO) sound at WOT. Tomorrow I'll check out the 4k RPM cruising sound.

Install was a bit of a pain, though. After helping Scott with his Supersprint, I thought I knew how to do the mounts, but, as it turns out, you don't use the stock brackets on the mounts, the mounts bolt directly onto the brackets welded to the muffler can. Also, as you're bolting the inboard exhaust mount, you have to reach over the exhaust can to reach the rear bolt (hope you have small hands and arms!). I suggest doing the inboard side before the outboard side, since you'll want to rotate the exhaust to be able to fit your hand in. Also, if you lie perpendicular to the car with your feet towards the passenger side and head towards the driver's side, you can get both hands over the can to do the bolt. 12mm and 13mm sockets and combination wrenches are all you need. Maybe some rust solvent, too ;)
