does anyone know of a good place to go to for a new windshield? mine is cracked pretty badly.

The guys at the Black Forest Werkshop referred me to a place....but can't remember. They did a good job for me though. Give BFW a call and ask them who they recommend.

there is a place at 183 and mcneil. I am getting my windsheild replaced on tuesday. i will post the nuber soon

im reviving this thread...

I'll be in Austin this weekend to pickup a bimmer from my brother. The problem is, the windshield is cracked (about halfway accross) and I dont want to drive back to California with my wife and child and a cracked windshield. I just wanna avoid any cops hasslin' me about that plus it's just a safety issue for me.

anyway... not knowing anything in Austin, can you guys recommend any shops I can call? I dont care if it's an aftermarket glass. I'm not too particular about that as long as its good quality (PPG, Sekurit, Pilkington...etc).
