Well, I installed my Euro bumper trim last week, and I had my front clears installed yesterday. The clear tails will be here sometime mid-week, but I could not resist taking some pics of the front clears to show you guys. I think the front clears look really sharp. Do you like them?

Thanks man. I'm not diggin' the rims...too small :( . But, they are really light. My next project is finding BMW center caps that fit the aftermarket BBS. :cool

Looks good. In the pic below...do you have both clears installed or just the one on the drivers side? I ask, because the passenger side seems to be more amber.

If you are looking to be rid of them, my E9 is coming to a conclusion, and those rims (RX-es) are in the plans. I may be able to take them off your hands.

Good question, haha. From different angles, the orange bulb is more present. In this pic, both clears are installed. But, the bulbs are both orange. So, like I said, from different angles and in different light, the clears look a little different.

I JUST got new tires. So, I wouldn't let go of them for as cheap as you would probably like, haha. BUT, PM me...

nice color too! My car looks almost identical, except for the wheels and wide grill. Also, instead of amber bulbs i use clear ones. When I turn them on they look a like a mix of yellow and amber, but when off, they look completely clear. I've never been pulled over for them ( had them on for about a year)

Sweet. I was a little skeptical of going totally clear (clear bulbs + clear lenses). The cops tend to go after young bucks like me anyway...:cool

I see & understand. The E38 guys usually do this little trick if they don't purchase the silvervision type bulbs (silver coated bulb that flashes amber)...they spray a VERY thin coat of silver spray paint on the tip of the bulb...and this hides the "egg yolk" look that happens with clear lenses. The caveat is...be careful to not put a heavy coat of paint on because it diminishes the luminescence of the bulb.

I was lucky...and found bulbs at my local Meijer store (it's like a WalMart/KMart) for only $3.99 ea... silvervision bulbs can cost way more than that.

(this is what I found at a local store & you can see that they're amber when on but invisible when off)

(and here is a source for a silver bulb that flashes amber...but is more expensive)

That's pretty sweet. So, what is the actual law on turn signal indicators?
