Hey all, just wanted to share this bit. My alarm remote hasn't been working for a while. Figured it was a dead battery. So I opened it up today and this little circuit board with "635" imprinted on it fell out. There seemed to be a little connector so I plugged it in to the connector. Upon closing it up, the led light now comes on again whereas it was dead before.

Pretty cool. :) :alright

Ya, that's the frequency chip. Pretty common that they come loose and fall out. Usually once it's done it, then it will happen again too, so be ready to take it apart again.

So.. how much does #3 cost at the $tealership? 90 bux? Of course the answer is as always, how much you got?

Ah read the fine print, you have to replace the corresponding chip in the car as well... lol $$$
