Hi, anyone had any experience with either satellite radio or an iPod in their new E90?
I like a variety of music and at first satellite radio seemed like a good accessory, but then I started thinking about it and loading up an iPod with music is:
- cheaper,
- better, in that you can program exactly what you want,
- also get podcasts (for those long drives!),
- a hookup already in place (the MP3 plug), and
- you can take your music with you when you leave the car!
My dealer agreed with me, also mentioning satellite radio might still have blackouts in some areas and, like cable or satellite TV, 90% of it is crap anyway.
