What are some fun roads to drive on?
I can only think of sheridan... any deserted twisty roads?

I would like to know also.
Sheridan from evanston to chicago? Seems too narrow and too busy but with few nice turns.

Sheridan is nice, but too many pot holes.

Chicago sucks for twisties, except for on/off ramps.

You have to go out a ways... there are some pretty fun roads that I drive everyday near the city but fuck it'd be a waste to just go out and drive them if you're not local.

RT52 west. from 1/55, some nice corners but mostly for doing over 100. nice long straights where you can top out ur M or any car. found that out when i was going to sheridan IL for a drift event. at first you go through a town right off the highway, the roads are a little shitty for like 3 miles then they clear up.

No offense but us folks in Illinois are extremely limited when it gets to fun roads around Chicago or even mid sized towns. Reality is that the best roads are over in Northwestern IL near Galena where the roads damn near rival the Dragon. I was involved with a drive which first met up in Davenport went up along with the river and then to the back roads of Davises County to Galena. Look at the detailed maps and you will find roads which are simply unbelievable. Our group had 10 Z's and we periodically stopped to let those who wanted to casually straggle catch up and then we spent the night in Galena. Very cool.

Plenty of twisty roads through unpopulated areas around Crystal Lake-Woodstock up through southern Wisconsin. :buttrock
