View Full Version : Yo Vendors: LTW Carbon Fiber Ashtray GB Wanted!
Effervescent 12-24-2005, 12:34 AM "LTW ashtrays, if you can locate a part number, I'd be happy to search for a price. I've had a few people inquire about this piece and haven't been able to locate a part number." says KO Performance.
I'm interested, anyone else? Any chance of a GB discount, Greg? Or anyone else?
Got part number?

I thought drag was a function of shape and not material? :dunno
clex2 12-28-2005, 10:46 AM I thought drag was a function of shape and not material? :dunno
Not to too OT, but drag is both shape and texture of the material. Just look at the professional swimmers with the full body suits with a special surface on them to emualte shark skin, which is ultra slick in H20. And they shave their bodies :nono. I also hear a waxed car is good for a few more mph at the top end.

m3classic 01-04-2006, 07:02 PM I checked with Greg at KO and he can get the part. Anyone know if this will fit a 99m3 ash tray or is it strictly for the older 95 ashtray (one piece).
I don't know where Yellowbullet got the prices from, but Greg can get it for slightly less.
I've seen pictures of it and it appears to be an overlay. I don't think I can justify the cost for this tiny piece.

the prices were from RealOEM.com just for reference. KOP always has better prices than that site...
m3classic 01-04-2006, 07:27 PM Thanks for the clarification and the part #s.
