Do you guys know of a good one that would take care of my BMW (some idiot run the red light and I smashed into his stupid GM minivan).

I want a shop that knows bmws well.

Thanks!

#1 collision does all bodywork for autowest bmw, and they are probly the best shop in the city. Has my bumpers painted there. They did a great job + a detail was included.

Brought my Bmw there when I needed my nosepanel+hood repainted. They did a perfect job and they did it fast; 2 days and I had my car back. The only thing is that they are priced higher than many other shops, but IMHO you get what you pay for.

A friend of mine swears by Richcity collision; he's had tons of work done on his Bmw there and tells me that they've always served him well. Prices are marginally lower than #1 Collision too.

As a long time BMW owner I can tell you there is only one shop in the city who I would ever consider for body work and that is Korva World Class Colission on West 2nd...all they touch are high end cars, lots for F cars, Porsches, BMW, etc. They did the complete respray on my M3 last year and it is better then it was new....trust me when I say go and see Vic or Boris, they'll take the best care of your car in the city and I am VERY particular about body work.

If you want THE BEST...KORVA no BS...don't even bother with No.1 collision. People who know goes to KORVA.

If you want cheap and pretty good...go ot AUTOSENSE...they resprayed my black
e36 into estoril and it was damn good.

Thank you everyone for your advices.

I took the car to No1, and it was a good experience. The work was perfect, the painting job was great, and they even replaced my broken door handle assembly (it's a PITA to replace it) and didn't charge me for it.

I definitely recommend them for any BMW work.

Wish I would have seen this thread sooner. I have had excelllent work done by another shop, but since you found someone who did great work and satisfied your expectations I wont muddy the waters with another suggestion at this point. :)
