I was on my way back to my apt downtown in Bham on I-65 North when this black beast M5 was in my way (~6pm 12/18/05). It was just recently bought with the paper dealer tag still flapping in the wind. I couldn't make out where it was purchased. It was truly impressive from the rear. :D I couldn't get around to admire it more due to the tight traffic. I wished I got to play with him for a bit but 500hp vs 270hp is no comparison. LOL
I followed it for several miles till I had to exit to go home. That would be one heck of a Xmas present!!!

It's not me obviously - but when I was in TW BMW getting some prior service records on the 528 - I talked to the service advisor and he said that the first 33 they were getting in were already sold.

I wish I could afford a new M5 - that V10 is just awesome.

i was hoping it was someone local..coz i'd pay for a ride..prolly more thrills then paying 7 bucks at the movie theater..

kinda funny, i saw a "fake" ad on ebay for a lucky winner to ride in the back of an m5 (older one) few years back..it was a funny ass ad...i'm surprise no one has posted one for the new m5...

yeah, 90k is a little bit out of my student budget...

my friend just picked up 2006 650 convertible few days ago (ATL)..he bought it in Germany(European delivery program) and drove it to London for a drop off...very nice..
he said he bought it for his mom as an Xmas present...his mom still hadn't gotten to drive it yet...lol
70k for a convertible..with 360hp..that's weak. they should have stuff the old m5 engine in there for 400hp.

ahh...i'm waiting on the GA lotto....lol
