I'm wondering if anyone makes a chip for the engine I'm building.

Basically it is a non-vanos S50... stock S50 lower end with a stock headgasket and a non-vanos head with S50-spec cams. I have a non-vanos engine harness and ecu, but I'm sure I can pick up the S50 parts if necessary.
Another option would be to run some sort of piggyback engine managemant, maybe SMT-6 (7?).

I was thinking that too. Turner is pretty close by, I should give them a call and see what it might cost.

COuple hours of dyno tuning runs about $600 normally.

Haha, yeah I wish. Not about to spend that kinda money. I'll most likely get the motronic dyno-tuned.
